GoMeddo’s LinkedIn Live unveils new opportunities with Salesforce Agentforce

On September 24, 2024, just days after Dreamforce, GoMeddo hosted a LinkedIn Live session with Salesforce Ben to discuss the groundbreaking announcements surrounding Salesforce’s Agentforce. GoMeddo was one of the selected ISV partners by Salesforce to co-develop on Agentforce use cases.

This new evolution in AI marks a significant leap from Einstein Copilot, bringing more flexibility and intelligence to businesses looking to automate complex tasks.

Why the shift from Einstein Copilot to Agentforce?

Previously known as Einstein Copilot, this AI assistant was embedded in Salesforce to help businesses streamline tasks, generate insights, and boost productivity. However, Agentforce goes a step further by introducing customizable agents that can handle a broader range of complex tasks, triggered by events or conversations. These agents are designed to augment human workflows, reducing the need for manual intervention in tasks such as customer support, sales follow-ups, and campaign management

Agentforce allows companies to configure AI agents with Salesforce’s low-code tools like Agent Builder, which leverages prompts, workflows, and APIs to design intelligent agents capable of automating tasks. By integrating deeply with Salesforce Data Cloud, these agents use real-time data to take meaningful actions, rather than simply responding to queries. This makes them much more than glorified chatbots—they are proactive solutions that enhance both the customer and employee experience​. For example, agents can autonomously handle tasks such as scheduling treatments in a healthcare setting or providing personalised product recommendations on an e-commerce platform​
